This site is not just a portfolio or a blog. It is intended to be a place to publish quality writing and stories. The stories that are published here are available for republishing, but the main purpose of this site is simply to get the stories to the public. What happens after they are published here happens.
Feature Freelance was created by journalist and registered nurse Stacy Kess as a home for freelance feature work, including articles and photographs.

This site is my brainchild. The idea is to give a home to free freelance works by writers and photographers.
Why free? Free news is the future of our news cycle. Paying for news – at least at this time – is out. This site is a place to share your news and images for free, and perhaps get noticed by another publication. It is absolutely free to publish a story on this site – which is why we are hosted by a blog site. In return, however, Feature Freelance does not pay its contributers for content.
Consider this a free exchange of ideas.
